OK so many of you have noticed that the station is quiet today, well as I tried to find out the problem, I was told that the data center that hosts the Shoutcast stream I have been using was going to be shut down for 8-12 hours. If you have a server company that says it will be down for that long, then it’s time to move on!
As of Noon EST I finally bit the bullet and am setting up a real deal system! This means not missing out on shows because I forgot to wake up and play them, and hopefully much more accurate starting times for those shows. It may also mean a request system for the weekends too(gotta read the manual first). And the bestest part, the possibly of more LIVE shows in the future! STAY TUNED!
In the meantime, I’ll be busting my butt today to try and get everything set up to just get back on the air and get the info changed in the players and apps! If you hear an explosion, it’s cus I dropped the Flux Capacitor into the fondue.
